Seeing this term a lot in Discord especially when a utility based NFT drops and buyers invest not knowing the token is a utility based token.
Nfts can be art, they can also be your very first tech investment into a platform that has a 2 year road map with exclusive yields, access and experiences.
Two fantastic examples are VeeFriends and basis markets the latter I have personal experience watching the community count down the amount of jpg flippers (who have no idea it’s a utility nft and tech investment) on Solsea before the floor price stabilises and then increases.
Quite sad to see really.
